Squarespace is used for many different hobbies, interests and businesses. These templates can be used from wedding photography to organisers helping couples on their big day. Below are seven sites wedding-related that all have their own qualities.
Squarespace makes it easy to customise and make any of these templates your own. All templates for Squarespace 7.1 can be modified heavily and very easily. These templates give you a fabulous base from which to work. Swapping out images will be the main part, and I'll have a photography tutorial soon.
1: Classy Creator
Up first is a template from 23 and 9 Creative, a talented template design shop based near Washington, United States. This template uses an archway-like shape for many of the images. It's an excellent effect and certainly fits the theme of a wedding site. Your own choice images can maintain that rounded style within the Squarespace image editor. You choose your images from your device, and the rounded style will show. The same happens on our own Premium Squarespace templates. This design isn't my favourite template on this list. It's probably a little too busy with many elements, but with that said, it's worth considering.
2: Orchid
I love the flowing lines of this template. Like the first featured - Classy Creator, it has this additional design flourish that suits the wedding theme very well. You can imagine the bride on her big day with the wind gently blowing the dress. It's these design additions that make templates like this special. Let's face it, 99% of websites have flat, 90-degree angled straight edges. This template breaks free of that, with a more organic vibe.
3: Soria
The default free templates included with any Squarespace plan are not to be dismissed. This stunning template is heavily reliant on the photographs, and it would be down to you to use your photography to position this website as something that stands out. The font selection on his template is excellent, and the serif style fits the wedding theme perfectly.

4: Sophie
Next is a cracker of a template by the popular design shop - Big Cat Creative. The home page kicks off with a scripted logo. You need to replace that with your logo, and I highly recommend getting something similar replaced. It's gorgeous and helps the site develop a style. A local designer should be able to get that sorted for a few hundred bucks. Totally worth it! The rest of the template is well constructed with muted and dark tones used alternatively. This is a high-quality template and definitely one for your consideration for a stunning wedding website powered by Squarespace.
5: Michelle
By Ley Studio, Michelle is a straightforward, gets-the-job-done kind of template. It's incredibly affordable at $69, at the time of writing, and if you are on a very tight budget, this could be a great custom template to choose. The pink tones suit the wedding theme well, and there are some nice graphical touches with a brushstrokes graphic that runs through many of the times. This style will stay with the design, even when you swap out to your images. It's not my favourite of the bunch listed on this blog, but it's a solid economical template.
6: Morena
Our second free, built-in template is by Squarespace. Merena can be described as minimal. I just love this design, and whilst there are not many elements, this adds to the sophistication of the style. The only problem with this template is that, as it's one of the free Squarespace templates, it's used on thousands, if not tens of thousands, of other websites. If you are determined to save money and don't mind the downside, this is a great template choice.

7: Opulence
Last but not least is this bold wedding template by Go Live, an American-based design studio. The contrasting colour scheme of black and white makes this design stand out. The bold, yet classy type works well here. The images are stunning, although you must swap them out with your imagery. The vibe is opulent and has a well-named template. This is a solid template with an individual style. One to be considered for a wedding website.
