About Little Old Media Surgery
Media Surgery is run by me, John Macpherson. The business started over 20 years ago, in 2004, as a freelance side business to help me pay my way through university. After graduating in 2008 with a degree in Design for Digital Media from RGU in Aberdeen, I have continued the business to this day.
I'm very much into design, Craft CMS, and small business. I like to keep fit by running, swimming, and the gym. My other hobbies and interests in golf, football, reading and rally. Work hard, play hard.

What you need to know about Media Surgery
- If you are looking for the lowest quote, then that's not me. You get an incredibly well-built site with someone who has been building websites full-time for over 16 years.
- Media Surgery is a freelance business; I work with other freelancers and experts - I don't employ anyone, never have and probably never will. I don't have a big team - I don't want to manage people - I want to build websites.
- I'm certainly not the cheapest web designer out there and i believe in "Price is what you pay, value is what you get".
