Fashion is big business, and you must stand out with your website in a sea of strong competition. Squarespace makes it easy to pick a free or paid template from a third party and edit it to your liking. Blog and regular content can be added to a Squarespace site easily. This allows you to update your fashion site with new lines and news you have, as fashion is a quick-moving industry.
Below are eight stunning fashion templates for your consideration.
#1 Method
The first is Method, which is created by the talented girls at GoLive. This clean and stylish template gives you a real push with its strong design. The typography is well done, with the main font having real character; the font suits this theme well. There are even some videos added to the internal pages; you could probably keep them as generic and not highly specific to the template. It's the same in our Coffee Template, the video is generic and can be used in many different cafe businesses. Overall, this is a solid template with some great additions, and it is one for your consideration.
#2 Milano
Next is a stunning template by Coast Kit. Whilst more marketed as a photography template, this can be easily modded towards a fashion site. This is one of the great things about Squarespace templates: you can start with any template and heavily modify it to create many different styles of design. Milano is a classy template; you could do much worse for your fashion website.
#3 Bijoux
Bijoux is another classy offering from Styled Square, a skilled template and Squarespace design shop based in the States. This template also has a complete e-commerce design and built-in look, and it's very well done indeed. Good styling on every page, and it looks and feels like an upmarket fashion site. This would suit a high-end fashion house selling products at the premium end of the market.
#4 Galena
Galena is one of the first of three templates from Squarespace themselves. This energetic design would be suited to a fashion brand targeting a younger generation, it’s very colourful and you would put yourself out there with this choice. The font selection is bold, and it speaks in a loud manner. An interesting option for you, for sure, could do wonders for your business for a specific audience.
#5 Skyloop
Skyloop is a charismatic design targeting younger shoppers with young children. The home page is striking and memorable with drawn brushstroke visuals. It’s a full-blown e-commerce-compatible template. The design of the shop pages are super clean and usable. An excellent template for a younger audience.
#6 Quinn
This is my kind of design! Minimal yet with striking visuals and strong typography. The greys and reds work exceptionally well together here. Only two colours are used, but that’s more than ok, it’s a beautiful template design. The problem with the last three exhibits in this review of fashion sites is that they are all free Squarespace templates. The issue is that MANY sites use them, so choosing this, or any other free Squarespace template, has its downsides.
#7 Scandi
This minimal and hugely flexible template is well designed. It’s not as punchy as Quinn above, but there is certainly a strong base here on which you can build your template foundation. The imagery is good and the colours are well chosen. Maybe not as stand-out as some others here, but a worthy mention.
#8 Indie Studio
Last but not least, this offering is by Applet Studio. The colours make this template stand out. They have an earthy and organic feel with a strong, classy aesthetic. There is quite a minimal design vibe here, too; it’s just the colours that make it feel a little busier than a true minimal design. Definitely one for your consideration, certainly if you have an organic link with your fashion site.
